We visited Crabpot Players Theatre and Snee Farm Country Club, both convenient to the hotel. The bistro was great for quick meals. Just a heads up, the bar operates with limited hours and no room service was available during our stay.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free parking, internet access, and a lovely outdoor pool. The staff even helped me find local info during my first stay. I'm coming back for another year!

I had a lovely stay while needing to take care of a family matter, and Erica at the Bistro was a lifesaver, juggling so much with a smile. I enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool and soaking in the hot tub after a long day. The only downside was having shutters that wouldn't open, making my room a bit darker than I prefer, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

The elevator situation is a snag. only one services the whole hotel, making waits a common occurrence. Noise levels are another concern. thin walls mean you can hear conversations from adjacent rooms and the sounds of footsteps overhead. My room featured a king bed, but the layout felt off, with a couch obstructing easy access. Several room amenities were slightly out of sorts, like a broken clock radio and peeling paint around the tub. Wi-Fi performance was spotty, which can be bothersome if you're trying to catch up on streaming or work.

I really enjoyed my stay as the pool area was great and the friendly staff made me feel welcome. You’re just a short drive from Shem Creek Park, which is perfect for a relaxing stroll by the water and getting some fresh air after exploring the city. I appreciate how close the hotel is to places like Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q for a tasty meal.
